I am an Africologist, philosopher, educator, and scholar-activist whose work brings African-centered thought into conversation with philosophy, education, spirituality, social justice, and community transformation. Across exactly 25 years of continuous higher education teaching experience, I have worked to make the classroom a place where knowledge becomes a practice of freedom.

My work centers Africology, African philosophical foundations, Afrocentric worldview, critical pedagogy, contemplative practice, and the relationship between knowledge and liberation. I approach scholarship not simply as something we study, but as something we live.
